Nadia started to crawl. I knew it would happen. Eventually. I just wasn’t entirely ready for it. Or the house wasn’t. In a panicky whirl, Kieran and I baby-proofed the place. I think. No doubt she’ll point out things we haven’t thought of – a wire, a plant, an unsteady table. She’ll find it.
So now life gets more….hmmm…mobile. The day after her first crawls, she pulled herself to a stand. We were at the coast visiting friends. Amazing. Next week, she’s off to college.
And tomorrow we’re off to New York City. And now, I’m off to bed.
