Out shopping the other day and I stopped by Little Urbanites in the Pearl – found out btw that Sip + Kranz canned its playroom, which stinks! – despite this bad news (and the fact I couldn’t get my mocha because S+K was closed due to plumbing issues) I still had a fabulous day in part because I got “the list.”
Little Urbanites has put together a list of Portland’s kid friendly hot spots. It’s great.
I checked Urbanites’ site to see if their list was online, but couldn’t find it…so stop by the store to pick one up. I tried out “Airplay” cafe for the singing and reading time this morning and it was great! A chaotic toddler mosh pit of happy singing children….mix in a group of caffeinated mums and it was a blast. (Though I felt like I needed a margarita to bring me back down…)
Another restaurant I’d add to Urbanites list is Pause at 5101 North Interstate Ave. It’s chic without being pretentious, you actually feel like you’re going to a grown-up space, but it’s completely kid friendly with a great menu for them too. (And you.) Call: (971) 230-0705
